After 40 years, the duPont REGISTRY cover cars capture moments from automotive history.
This year, duPont REGISTRY, the source for supercars since 1985, celebrates its 40th anniversary. During that time, some of the world’s most desirable, iconic and influential luxury and exotic cars have graced the covers of our magazine over the past 40 years, and together the cover cars of duPont REGISTRY’s hundreds of monthly issues tell a story of automotive history and its evolution since the 1980s.

January – Apollo IE (intense emotion)
An elusive V12-powered supercar, the Apollo IE has been legendary for quite some time. In January 2018, it heralded a new year full of cover cars for duPont REGISTRY magazine.
February – Lamborghini Urus
Now Lamborghini’s most popular model and one of the most ubiquitous super SUVs on the market, the production Lamborghini Urus first appeared on our cover in February 2018.
March – Hennessey Venom F5
Now well on its way to achieving many record-breaking ambitions in performance and speed, the Hennessey Venom F5 was already on our cover in March 2018.
April – Porsche TechArt GTStreet R
One of the most exciting customizers out there Porsche cars, the TechArt GTStreet R was the cover star for our April 2018 anniversary issue.
May – Ferrari 488 Pista
A lifted, track-focused version of the Ferrari 488, hence the Pista suffix, the Ferrari 488 track was our May 2018 cover star.
June – Lamborghini Huracán Performante Spyder
Designed for track-ready performance with added open-air thrills, the Lamborghini Huracan Performante Spyder was the cover star of our magazine of June 2018.
July – Chevrolet Corvette ZR1
The pinnacle of the C7 Chevrolet Corvette series, the C7 Corvette ZR1 was the cover star of our July 2018 issue.
August – Porsche 911 GT3 RS
The pinnacle of purist, naturally aspirated Porsche performance on the track at the time, the Porsche 911 GT3RS of the 991 generation was our cover star of August 2018.
September – McLaren P1 GTR
A special one McLaren P1 GTRspecifically the example with the “01” fin, was the cover star of our September 2018 issue.
October – Lamborghini Aventador SVJ prototype
Camouflaged at the time, the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ that would become one of the most desirable, collectible and exclusive variants of the Aventador, was the cover star of our October 2018 issue.
November – Lexani EXTV
The Lexani EXTV, a custom luxury off-roader based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinterwas our November 2018 cover star.
December – Porsche 911 Speedster Concept
It would eventually emerge for the 2019 model year as a purist-oriented model with limited production, but the Porsche 911 Speedster Concept was a vision of a model that would continue a cherished legacy of Porsche ‘Speedster’ models, one of the defining features of Porsche’s place in automotive history.
