On Tuesday, 17-year-old Dulcy Caylor shocked the American Gymnastics Field and he won the all-round competition at Night One of the World Selection Team event in Crossville, Tennessee. Caylor placed a huge 55,250 to beat the no. 2 and 3 athletes of the country: Leanne Wong and Joscelyn Roberson.
The gymnast born in Texas rose to an early lead after a strong start of safe but few thought she would be in charge of four rotations. With American nationals, Caylor finished eighth in the all-round and won the bronze medal on balance beam.
Today in Tennessee, Caylor went from on the way up The stage, to complete her day with tears of joy while her teammates applauded her victory.
The University of Florida has committed trains in the World Champions Center, the famous Gymnastics Center that has produced stars as Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles and Joscelyn Roberson.
With its victory, Caylor achieved the only automatic berth on the Team USA delegation for the upcoming World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Night one all-round results:
1. Dulcy Caylor: 55.250
2. Leanne Wong: 55,050
3. Joscelyn Roberson: 54,900
4. Ashlee Sullivan: 54,250
5. Jayla Hang: 54.100

Hezly Rivera, the current American champion and a first favorite to win the event, withdrew last week due to an ankle injury. Her teammate, the American classical champion Claire Pease, also withdrew a day later due to an ankle injury.
While the field was somewhat exhausted, Caylor hardly held a foot on Tuesday evening, held her vault and hit her best floor routine of the season.
There are three places left
With Caylor named after the team, the remaining seven athletes will fight for the three remaining places on the delegation on the way to Jakarta. While tonight’s competition was an all-round event, day two will serve as a ‘device competition’, in which athletes compete with only selected events to show their strengths.
Finishers of second and third place and veterans Leanne Wong and Joscelyn Roberson will probably make the team strong performance on day two. However, a colleague veteran will almost be flawless to secure her place.
Two -time world team champion Skye Blakely has world medal pointing in balance beam and unequal bars, but today struggled in Tennessee. Blakely will have an opportunity to prove the selection committee that she can get under pressure.
If she staggeres, the Underdogs Ashlee Sullivan and Jayla can take advantage.
The second and last day of the competition starts on Wednesday 1 October at 11.30 p.m. Flipnow.
