Houses that offer a playful edge stand apart in the market and this Connells Point Home is certainly one.

The house offers what most children would be of most children and has a level above in fun with a water slide and outdoor basketball court that acts as a football field that has served for a decade of memories.

“My husband and I were building the house and we have four children who were about three to eight when we were in the concept phase,” said seller Daina Sinovich.

The water slide offers hours of fun

“We wanted to be the house where people came to and the children in the area and they take everyone to us.”

Mrs. Sinovich said they had considered many ways to record the slide, such as internal to external.

“When we were building, we wanted to do some nice things and the slide was one of the first things we thought about,” she said.

“There was a lot of thought about where we would place this – we wanted to do it well.

“My husband is the builder – it was seamless.

“The structure was built around the slide.”

An outdoor space suitable for family and friends

The slide was imported from America, of which Mrs. Sinovich said it was a bit of a company, but definitely worth it.

“It’s so sturdy and very fast, it’s actually very nice to continue,” she said.

“It is the best we have done, I don’t regret it for a single minute.”

The slide is in its own structure with a gym and a bathroom in the pavilion that looks forward to the football field that acts as a basketball court.

The back garden is a hub for friends

“We had about 10 years there, so it was a kind of all their forming and adolescent years,” said Mrs. Sinovich.

“Three of them are now adults and people do not live at home.

“It was just the perfect moment to do it and I feel that they really grew up through the house and the facilities.”

This also created a hub for guests.

“Everyone brought their friends there and to be honest, I feel that our friends loved it as much as the children thought of it,” said Mrs. Sinovich.

The outdoor space of the house is ideal for entertainment

“It was essential for the experience of the house I would say.”

Regarding the football and basketball court, Mrs. Sinovich said that this was influenced by her and her husband Health and Fitness.

“My husband was a professional football player in a previous life, I was in the fitness industry – so sport and health were the key to us and we wanted our children to grow around it,” she said.

“We have had endless hours and hours of use at that court with different groups of friends.

“It was widely used in Covid.”

Mrs. Sinovich said they no longer need such a large basis.

“I think it did his job, it was great for what it was and we are ready to reduce a bit and only for the next phase,” she said.
