President Donald Trump of the United States refused to say whether he supported or resisted a potential military acquisition of Gaza by Israel against a potential military acquisition and said that the focus of his administration was on increasing access to food to the Palestinian enclave that was abused by the vs.’s ally.
“I know that we are trying to feed people now. As far as the rest are concerned, I really can’t say it. That will almost be Israel,” Trump said reporters in Washington, DC, when asked if he supported Israel to recapture the entire Gaza.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met high safety officials on Tuesday, with media who report that he preferred a full military takeover of Gaza.
The Netanyahu office said in a statement that the Prime Minister had held a “limited safety discussion” that lasted approximately three hours, with military staff chef Eyal Zamir “presented the options to continue the campaign in Gaza”.

An Israeli official previously told the Reuters -Minister of Defense Israel Katz and Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dmerer, a confidant of Netanyahu, would also attend the meeting to decide on a strategy to go to the cabinet this week.

Israeli media reported that the cabinet would meet Aest on Friday.
Israel’s channel 12, referring to an official from the Netanyahu office, had said that the prime minister tended to control over the entire territory. That would reverse a decision from 2005 to withdraw Israeli civilians and soldiers from Gaza, while maintaining control over his limits, airspace and utility companies, a relocation, right -wing parties that blame Hamas that gains power there in the 2006 elections.
However, it was unclear whether Netanyahu had provided a long -term acquisition or a short -term operation, aimed at dismantling Hamas and freeing Israeli hostages.

The Prime Minister’s office refused to comment on the Channel 12 report.

“It is still necessary to complete the defeat of the enemy in Gaza, to release our hostages and to ensure that Gaza will never again be a threat to Israel,” said Netanyahu new recruits on a military base. “We don’t give up any of these missions.”
The United Nations mentioned reports about a possible decision to extend the military operations of Israel in the gaza strip “deeply alarming” if true.
UN Assistant-Secretary General Miroslav Jenča told a meeting of the Security Council: “International law is clear in the context; Gaza is and must remain an integral part of the future Palestinian state.”
A Palestinian official said that the suggestion of a full Israeli military acquisition of Gaza can be a tactic to put pressure on Hamas in concessions, while the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs insisted on foreign nations to pay attention to the reports.

“The Ministry is insisting on countries and the international community to treat these leaks with the greatest seriousness and urgently intervene to prevent their implementation, whether these leaks are meant to put pressure, test international reactions or be real and serious,” said it.

The coalition government of Israel, the right-most and religious conservative in its history, includes the extreme right-wing politicians who argue for the annexation of both Gaza and the West Bank and Palestinians encourage them to leave their home country.
The International Court of Justice said in 2024 that the occupation of Israel of Palestinian territories is illegal and should end soon.
Palestinians who live in the last quarter of the territory where Israel has not yet taken over military control, via soil raids or demands for citizens to leave, said that every new push would be catastrophic.

“If the tanks pushed through, where would we go, in the sea?” said Abu Jehad, a Gaza Wood -Koopman. “This will be as a death sentence for the entire population.”

In the meantime, the local health authorities said that at least 20 people were killed by Israeli gunfire while waiting for UN aid trucks in the northern Gaza Strip. While 20 people were injured by the Israeli gunfire in southern Gaza while they waited to get help near Morag Square near Rafah, doctors said.
Eight more people died of hunger or malnutrition in the last day, said the Ministry of Health of Gaza, while at least 80 people were killed at the last Israeli shooting.
About 188 Palestinians, including 94 children, died of hunger since the war escalated, according to the Gaza authorities.
On Saturday Hamas released a video of the Israeli hostage agent Evyatar David, who seemed to be starving in what seemed to be an underground tunnel. The images shocked Israelis and led to international conviction.

Davids’ brother told the Security Council to use its leverage to guarantee the immediate unconditional release of remaining hostages and to ensure that humanitarian aid achieves them.

“Every moment of delay is a step closer to the last tragic outcome,” Ilay David told the meeting.

He said that the video showed his brother as “a living skeleton. He hardly had the power to move or speak, his voice barely recognizable,” said the brother, nor he could not bring his mother to look.
While the indignation was built during the video, Netanyahu asked the help of the international committee of the Red Cross to help hostages in Gaza.
The armed wing of Hamas said that the desk would have access to the hostages, but only if “humanitarian corridors” for food and help were opened “over all areas of the Gaza Strip”.
The Al-Qassam brigades said that it “did not intentionally starved” the hostages, but they would not receive any special food privileges “in the midst of the crime of hunger and siege” in Gaza.
