Dodgers sign veteran Werper in free desk

In the midst of the Bullpen wrestings of the Los Angeles Dodgers, this season, right-handed Matt Sauer, was again signed for a Minor League deal.

This season Sauer made 10 performances in a Dodgers uniform and placed an era of 6.37 over his 29.2 innings thrown.

After the right -handed person was appointed earlier this month for assignment and was then released, it took a little more than a week before he returned to the organization.

About his time in Triple-a Oklahoma City this season, Sauer is wearing an ERA of 5.86 over 18 outings, 17 of which started. During this time he has sent 79 batters to 28 walks through 80 innings work.

Sauer broke the opening day schedule and made his first performance in Dodger Blue during an exhibition game during the Tokyo series to start the season. He had an ERA of 1.54 during his first four performances, achieved a victory and a salvation during those one -rings 11.2 innings.

Sauer was originally a second round concept choice of the New York Yankees in the MLB design of 2017, but was selected by the Kansas City Royals with the second choice of the 2023 Rule 5 Draft. He made 14 performances in relief for the royals last season, with an ERA of 7.71 over 16.1 total innings.

After he had returned to the Yankees during the 2024 campaign, he would be stored in Milb before choosing outside season and signed a Minor League deal with the Dodgers last January.

Regardless of where his role will move forward, Sauer will hope to get the most out of his next opportunity, a second chance with the defending champion. Although it is unlikely that he will get another chance this season, he hopes to audition for LA or another team prior to the following season.
