Macie Grace will have three children for the Muncy family, with daughter Sophie Kate born in July 2021 and son Wyatt James in April 2023.

Will Max Muncy be with the Dodgers in 2026?
Muncy has had a busy offseason, as the Dodgers picked up his $10 million option near the start of the offseason.
Right now, Muncy is the Dodgers’ starting third baseman for the upcoming year, and with the way he performed healthy last season, there’s no reason to change that.
While the veteran third baseman got off to a slow start to the 2025 season, he only managed a .194 batting average and a .610 OPS through the end of April. However, in May and June, Muncy was arguably the best hitter in the Dodgers’ lineup.
In May, Muncy hit .250 with five home runs and 26 RBIs. He continued his tear into June, hitting seven more home runs and driving in another 26 runs.
The third baseman landed on the injured list in early July, effectively ending his hot streak, and returned to the injured list just 10 days after returning from his initial injury.
If Muncy can stay healthy in the 2026 season and find the form he had in 2025, the Dodgers will have a host of huge bats to contribute to their high-powered offense next season.
How long has Max Muncy been a Dodger?
Muncy joined the Dodgers at the start of the 2017 season after the A’s released him. He did not play for the team in 2017, but made his first appearance in Dodger blue the following season. He made an immediate impact, posting a .973 OPS in his first full season at the MLB level.
The following season, Muncy made his first All-Star appearance and received MVP votes for the second straight season. He has played for the Dodgers every season since and has stated time and time again that he wants to retire a Dodger.
Now that his contract is up, the Dodgers hope to give Muncy a good send-off when his retirement comes. Muncy will look to secure the first three-peat in Dodgers franchise history in 2026.
