Right-handed pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto takes the hill for LA and comes from a dominant regular season in which he went 12-8 with a 2.49 ERA and 201 strikeouts over 173.2 innings.
Opposite Yamamoto, veteran will be right-handed pitcher Zach Littell, who acquired the Reds in the trade theadline of the Tampa Bay rays in the three-team trade that brought catcher Ben Rortvedt to the Dodgers.
In general, Littell went on 32 starts this season with an ERA of 3.81 and 130 strikeouts thrown in 186.2 innings. Since he comes to the Reds, he has an ERA of 4.39 in 53.1 innings.
