Since the Los Angeles Dodgers have fought inconsistency all season, there seems to be a conviction that there is more what the product has shown on the field.
Injuries have played an important role in this faith, but fans, players and experts seem to believe that there is more than the eye in LA. Manager Dave Roberts knows this as well as everyone else, but recently selected the right field player Teoscar Hernández as a specific example as someone he knows that the team can get more production.

“Teo is a man that we counted a lot at the greatest moments last year,” said Roberts. “He is a man I really admire, because he can balance the nice part of the baseball, but also has that. And I think we have lost a bit of that lead in recent months. So I think I want to see for me, that edge, that fire, and I just saw it, and I just got it in the fight. What will come in the next month and then.”
Roberts was also asked if he spoke with Hernández about getting the “lead” back and gave a reserved response.
“Maybe,” he said. “We have had countless conversations. So we are in a good place. We are coordinated. He knows his value for our ball club. He knows my expectations of him individually. So we are in Lockstep.”
Hernández has a down year and hits .247 with a .734 Ops, but only hit .171 in his last 10 games. The Dodgers went with 4-6 in this piece and to go with 24 games until October, is no time better than now to increase his production.
