Los Angeles Dodgers Infielder Miguel Rojas made a huge defensive game in game 2 of the National League Division Series against the Philadelphia Phillies.
With two on and two in the bottom of the sixth inning, Rojas hit a ground ball at third base and decided to shoot to the bag to get the strength play in third place.

Rojas raced against one of the fastest players of baseball, Trea Turner, who was in sprint speed in the 100th percentile this season. Dodgers’ third Honkman first had to dive to third base to make the game, hardly beat the Speedster of the Phillies.
Unfortunately Rojas suffered an injury at the piece. Max Muncy Pinch hit for Rojas in the seventh and took over on third base for the rest of the game.

Manager Dave Roberts spoke after match 2 About the updated status of Rojas.
“Miggy, great game, aggressive, intoxicating game to get Trea on third base on the Force Play,” Said Roberts. “And then the hamstring has tightened a bit on him. It is something he has to deal with in recent weeks. I wanted to get him away there.”
He added: “It was clear that Muncy came in the game. We will see how he comes in tomorrow. And his status, I would say it is fair to say that it is day to day.”
Rojas has been solid this late season and collected three hits and an RBI in seven battlefits. As shown in his sliding game to get Turner in third place, he has also been invaluable for defense.
With the Phillies who start right-hand hand Aaron Nola in Game 3, Muncy would still get the start on the third base above Rojas. However, his status as a potential off-the-bank option is still to be seen.
