The Los Angeles Dodgers enjoyed a day off after wiping the Colorado Rockies on Thursday to extend their winning series to four.
In other news, the Dodgers officially released a right -handed pitcher. The 26-year-old was designated during the weekend for allocation by the Dodgers and 10 performances appeared for LA.
Moreover, manager Dave Roberts gave an update on the injury of All-Star catcher Will Smith. A setback with his hand prior to Wednesday’s game resulted in the backstop that was a late scratch for the final clobbering of the Colorado Rockies.
Finally, the Dodgers pushed back the next planned planned pitching start from Superstar Shohei Ohtani. After the expectation was that Ohtani would throw against the Giants in San Francisco, fans will have to wait until the Dodgers return home next week to see the triple MVP take the hill.
