Dodgers 6, Reds 3: Clayton Kershaw retires the last 14 with which he is confronted, Dodgers have a winning series? – Dodgers Digest

After having won an important victory in a heavy matchup to start the series yesterday, the Dodgers drove their franchise icon to a series of victory today, because he was dominant to close his outing and the attack continued to put together better battles in a 6-3 victory over the Reds.

Those are three wins in a row … a streak?

=======

Things did not start well for the Dodgers and Clayton KershawWhile he gave up a Lad-off-Double and a one-out single de runners in the corner. He then caused a grounder, but the runner went on the field, so it was just an RBI to set up the Reds 1-0.

He did not allow any other Baserunner from there, because he closed with 14 straight batters to end his outing.

Kershaw was just dominant after a few early hiccups: 5 IP, 2 h, 1 r, 0 bb, 6 k, 72 throws.

For the Reds it was Dodgers Boogeyman Nick Martinez On the hill, and they immediately mounted a comeback. A Mookie Betts one from single was followed by Freddie Freeman doubling to the left, and Mookie scored on one Austin Hays Throwing wrong to make it 1-1.

They did nothing else from that, and in the 2nd one Andy -Pages Single was erased when he was thrown away, causing the single to follow it later in the inning.

The attack also wasted a walk in the 3rd, but managed to take the lead in the 4th behind one Teoscar Hernandez Lead-Off Double, A Michael Comfort Infield Single who bend Martinez, and one Enrique Hernandez SAC fly to the left to make it 2-1.

Martinez then got a clean 5th, but the Dodgers finally came to him in the 6th. Things started wrestling Will Smith Hetting his 16th Homer of the Year to bring the score to 3-1.

After a one -off double from pages, that ended the Night of Martinez as Brent Ster entered. Alex Call Pinch hit and a short-term ball, where for whatever reason, pages ran for third place and were thrown away for a new base blunder from him.

That looked expensive when Enrique Hernandez banged a single, because pages would probably have scored. However, Miguel Rojas pinch hit and hit a double Noelvi Mars Did it look bad to score the call and Hernandez. Shohei Ohtani Then immediately followed with a single to score Rojas, and it was 6-1 just eliminated with Ster.

The score stopped there in the 6th, and that was actually all they got the rest of the game.

If you wonder where the Kershaw updates were, it was ready after five.

I would rather have continued as Kershaw, but if he doesn’t fight it, I don’t know.

Regardless of what that was about, things looked early like a disaster Edgardo Henriquez Entered in the 6th and immediately given back-to-back singles. For some reason, however, the Reds had Noelvi Square to bump, even though it was one of their hottest bats, and he came in a doubles.

Henriquez van de Haak has that for the 6th, and Ben Casparis entered for the 7th. He was also in trouble immediately, issued a walk and then gave up a Hays Homer to lower the lead to 6-3.

He followed three strikeouts in a row, but clearly not what you wanted to see.

For the 8th it was Blake trainswho looked better to give only a two-out single. Freddie Freeman also saved Enrique Hernandez from an error.

Tanner Scott Felled for the 9th and the Save, and he stood for the minimum after a one-out ground ball single was erased by a game with a game.

The biggest negative of today, Alex Call may have hurt herself to let the bases run.

I don’t know, man.
