The organization kicked off the second day of its annual community service week with a grocery distribution at Christy’s Foundation in Northridge with Dodger alumni Billy Ashley, Ken Landreaux and Dennis Powell.
The group distributed groceries and basic supplies to local families. Ashley, who spent six seasons with the Dodgers from 1992 to 1997, expressed his gratitude for the organization’s tour.
“It means everything, the Dodgers have always been a big believer in giving back to the community and a lot of the work we do as alumni is within the community… it’s great,” Ashley said.
Tuesday afternoon, Dodger alumni Matt Luke and Powell visited Hollydale Elementary School in South Gate for the “Playworks Recess Takeover.” The initiative is aimed at eighth-grade students, where “movement-based programming encourages interaction and helps break down social barriers.”
The Dodgers kicked off the tour with their annual Employee Day of Service in North Hollywood at the Veteran Enriched Neighborhood.
The Dodgers are in the middle of their annual community service week, which runs from Monday, January 26 through Friday, January 30. The 2026 Dodgers Love LA Community Tour features 11 different stops highlighting the team’s relationship with fans and the community.

The annual community service week essentially gets things moving for the organization each year, as the Dodgers Love LA Community Tour leads into DodgerFest with spring training to follow.

LOS ANGELES – The back-to-back World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers will host their annual community service week – Dodgers Love LA Community Tour presented by Bank of America – from Monday, January 26 through Friday, January 30.
The 2026 tour will feature eleven different stops over five days, highlighting the team’s special relationship with its fans and neighbors in the city.

The tour kicks off Monday with the Dodgers’ annual Employee Day of Service in North Hollywood at the Veteran Enriched Neighborhood, which was founded in 2023 in partnership with Homes 4 Families to provide affordable housing and supportive services to veterans and their families. Dodger front office staff, Dodger sideline reporter Kirsten Watson and Bank of America employee volunteers will be charged with building practical improvement projects to create shared spaces that promote connection and healing. Late in the afternoon at Adrian’s Place in Santa Monica, the Dodgers and select Dodger alumni will host a hands-on art workshop that encourages self-expression while taking photos in a photo booth with the World Series trophy. Adrian’s Place is an inclusive community center, dedicated to creating a welcoming space where families, friends, caregivers and professionals can connect, share experiences and access essential programs and services.

On Wednesday morning in San Bernardino, 1981 World Series MVP Steve Yeager will participate in a special appreciation luncheon in San Bernardino to honor the 10th anniversary of those affected by the tragic shooting at a county employee Christmas party that left 14 people dead and 22 others seriously injured. During the Dodgers Love LA tour in January 2016, Dodger legend Andre Ethier and Hall of Famer Tommy Lasorda had an impressive lunch with victims and first responders of the 2015 terrorist attack. Later on Wednesday, Ashley will present the World Series trophy to the City of Los Angeles Emergency Management Department (EMD) in recognition of her continued dedication and service to our communities. Employees will have the opportunity to take photos with the trophy, meet and interact with Ashley, and enjoy a moment of appreciation and celebration during their workday.
On Thursday, two-time Cy Young award winner Blake Snell and Landon Knack will join both Dodger and Bank of America staffers at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. Students from the 75e St. Elementary School takes part in an educational field trip and has lunch with the left-handed Dodger. Thursday will conclude with a special “Senior Prom” for local seniors at the nearby Glendale Recreation Center. Dodger players Jack Dreyer, Will Klein, Dalton Rushing and River Ryan will be present for the festivities.
The Dodgers Love LA Community Tour concludes Friday with a very special pep rally at El Rancho High School in Pico Rivera. Current Dodger players Alex Call, Jack Dreyer, Brusdar Graterol, Landon Knack, Bobby Miller, Miguel Rojas, Tanner Scott, Brock Stewart and Gavin Stone will participate in interactive rally games and student engagement activities. Following the pep rally, the same Dodgers will visit the Frank Hotchkin Memorial Training Center, located right next to Dodger Stadium. The Boys in Blue will bring home the World Series trophy and salute local firefighters in recognition of the one-year anniversary of last year’s devastating fires in Altadena and the Palisades.
Finally, Graterol and Snell will conclude the tour by surprising and delighting customers at a local Jack in the Box. Stay tuned to Dodgers social media channels to find out the exact location on January 30th.
