The viral video shows a large public procession with a music band that plays ‘Saare Jahan Se Achcha Hindustan Humara’ and waving countless Indian national flags in the air.

Days after India Operation Sindoor had launched in Pakistan and Pok after the Pahalgam attack, a video has become viral on social media, with a claim that Baloch citizens in the Balochistan region in Pakistan expressed solidarity with India flag during a pro-authority.

The viral video shows a large public procession with a music band that plays ‘Saare Jahan Se Achcha Hindustan Humara’ and waving countless Indian national flags in the air. An X user shared the video on 20 May with the claim that the video supported India during a pro-laying march in Balochistan.

Control

The claim in the video is misleading. The video does not come from Balochistan. It was from Surat, Gujarat. According to a PTI report, a Tiranga Yatra was organized on May 14, 2025 to celebrate the success of Operation Sindoor against Pakistan. The event contained a performance of the Saifee Scout Band of the Dawoodi Bohra community and was not related to Balochistan or a pro-India rally. In the meantime, the inhabitants of the Nushki van Balochistan made a meeting in response to a phone call from the Baloch Yakjehti committee (BYC), and organized a considerable protest against increasing violence, Ani. The protesters marched through the streets, which expressed strong opposition against extrajudicial murders, forced disappearances and the illegal detention of BYC leaders.
