Bidding is now open for the Fall Flash Sale at Fasig-Tipton Digital, a two-entry boutique auction offering two fillies that recently won the Breeders’ Cup preliminary races. Bidding closes this Thursday, October 16th at 6:00 PM ET.
These two offers are:
Iron Orchard (Hip 1): The undefeated two-year-old Authentic daughter won the Frizette S. (G1), a Breeders’ Cup “Dirt Dozen” race, last Saturday, making her one of the leading contenders for the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1). Before that, she won the Seeking the Ante S. at Saratoga by 6 ¾ lengths, and her debut at Saratoga by 5 ½ lengths. Her deep feminine family includes Grade 1 winners Aloha West, Ogygian and Honor and Glory. Iron Orchard is appointed as an agent by her trainer Danny Gargan.
Carrying ice (hip 2): The four-year-old filly won the Princess Rooney S. (G3), a “Win and You’re In” for the Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Sprint (G1) on September 20 at Gulfstream Park. This year she has won five stakes races, including the Vagrancy S. (G3) in May, where she defeated graded stakes winner R Disaster and Grade 1 winner Leslie’s Rose. Haulin Ice has a career earnings of $958,650 to date. Haulin Ice is shipped by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent (contact Steve Castagnola).
