A lot can happen in a decade – especially when it comes to your face.
Dutch photographer and Filmmaker Jeroen Wolf has shown the drastic effects of 10 years of aging on the faces of people in a short film.
He took headshots of 50 from his school friends – once at their 50th birthdays and again ten years later, with amazing results.
Mr Wolf told The Daily Mail that the comparisons ‘certainly confronted’ for some of his subjects, and in a small preview he held for the film, some people refused to look when their faces appeared.
Some participants are better outdated than others, with milder wrinkles over time.
Together with facial lines, another noticeable difference is while the subjects speak their teeth in the two shots.
Some people have more visible spots at the age of 60.
In their recordings that record them at the age of 60, some participants have less hair or their hair thinned, which is again, another common sign of aging.
Together with changed performances, the voices of the participants seem lower if they say their age at the age of 60.

Experts from UT Southwestern explain that age -related vocal changes develop as muscles and other tissues in the larynx and vocal cords shrink, thin and stiffen.
Symptoms of an aging voice can cause a lower pitch in women, but they say that the voices of gentlemen often sound higher.
In the meantime, other signs include a loss of Projection and resonance, reduced volume and a weak or shaky voice.
Mr Wolf explains that he was inspired to start the project after he turned 50 in 2013 and he contacted his old classmates from primary school.
Originally he just started taking 50 photos of 50-year-olds, but then a decade later he decided to visit the project again and that is where the idea came about to make side by side.
In a reaction to the results of his project, Mr Wolf told this website: ‘Some people look incredible and some people even look younger.
“It is clear that life has been more difficult for some people and if they have drunk or smoked a lot, it can demonstrate.”
Since the start of the project, two of the participants died and Mr Wolf has dedicated it to their memory.

He says about the initiative: ‘This short film is a portrait of my generation, about the merciless passage of time and for me personally, a recovery of emotions, friendships, love. And a way to keep in touch with old friends and acquaintances.
“The viewer can see a number of middle -aged faces, but I can’t look at us, except the children we are – and once were.”
To date, Mr Wolf’s video has been viewed more than 600,000 times, with many viewers thinking about their own experiences with aging.
A viewer wrote: ‘I am now 53 and although I love these years, I have to say that it is a difficult decade.
‘Many of us are starting to realize that we have more years behind us than for us, and we often say goodbye to our parents in these years.
‘Life becomes more meaningful, more beautiful and frightening! What is clear in these photos, however, is that our personalities tend to stay where and we try to find joy and laughter where we can. ‘
Another commentator mused: ‘I know that I look deeply older from 50 to 60, and I saw most of it as because of a fast aging postmenopause (of hormonal changes), 56-60 years old.
