Diamond Creek Farm announces stud fee increase for Sweet Lou

October 2025 — Diamond Creek Farm has announced Dear Louthe sport’s premier bull in 2025, will pass the 2026 breeding season at a fee of $30,000, up from $25,000.

Dear Lou

His book will close no later than December 15, although it is expected to be swamped with demand and may close earlier.

Sweet Lou dominated the rankings again in 2025, leading all sires with progeny revenue of almost $17 million.

Among his standout performers are likely to be Dan Patch Award winners Louprint and Loua Dipa, who exemplify the exceptional quality and consistency of his offspring. Louprint ($1,763,910, 1:46.3) has solidified his place at the top of this year’s second-year pacing foal division, with big wins at the Meadowlands Pace, Tattersalls Pace and Little Brown Jug. His mix of raw speed and durability has made him one of the most talked-about horses of the season.

On the fillies side, Loua Dipa ($742,241, 1:48.0) enjoyed a breakout campaign, capturing the Breeders Crown and the Kentucky Sire Stakes Finals, underscoring her position among the elite pacing fillies of 2025.

“Sweet Lou continues to define the standard of excellence for modern pacing bulls,” said Adam Bowden of Diamond Creek Farm.

“His offspring consistently perform at the highest levels, and the continued demand for his offspring reflects the depth of his impact on the breed.”

Diamond Creek Farm will announce stud fees for the remaining stallions following the conclusion of the upcoming Harrisburg Yearling Sale.
