On Tuesday evening, the New Jersey Devils fans gave good to what their opening night schedule would look like, because they encountered the New York islanders in the Prudential Center.
As expected, the islanders had most of their most important guys, the Devils blew out the island residents With a score of 6-2, so that she surpassed 39-14 in the process.

As the plan was, Markstrom (2/3 Saves) left after the first and was replaced by Georgi Romanov. The devils then started an attack of goals.
Nico Hischier scored one on the power play of a feed by Jesper Bratt to restore the leadership. Then Connor Brown and Dawson Mercer followed with their own Talies-Lege even strength, making it 4-1.
Almost halfway through the third, Ethan Edwards added an insurance objective when he got one to sneak centimeters past Tristan Lennox. Then the Devils were given a Power Play and Evgenii Dadonov brought 6-1 by cleaning up a rebound.
Calum Ritchie added a 5-on-3 power play goal for the islanders to bring the score to 6-2. But the score was there, while Romanov left with the victory and 8/9 saves.
Both teams will be confronted again within just a few days, while they go to the UBS Arena on Friday evening (19:00 Edt).
