A local news outlet in Arizona has received a second note from Nancy Guthrie’s alleged kidnapper(s).
Nancy Guthrie, 84, mother of NBC’s “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie, was last seen Saturday evening.
The elder Guthrie was taken from her home in Pima County, Arizona, last weekend.

13 News received a note from the kidnapper, but did not share the contents of the message with the public.
The outlet referred the note to the FBI.

13 News forwarded the message to law enforcement Friday afternoon, and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department quickly released the following statement:
“The FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department are aware of a new report involving Nancy Guthrie. Investigators are actively reviewing the information in the message for authenticity.”
The PCSD said anyone is still asked to call 88-CRIME or 1-800-CALL-FBI with information, photos or videos related to the case. The FBI said it is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the recovery of Nancy Guthrie or an arrest in the case.
“We now know that a second note was sent to our sister station,” said a reporter from AZ Familie.
“We don’t know if it’s a legitimate note,” she said.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department said it is aware of the new note and is actively inspecting the information.
