Vicente Salas became the fifth different driver who won a racing this season in the Enascar Coca-Cola Iracing series, which celebrated on Tuesday in Victory Lane on a Motor Speedway Virtual Dover (el.).

Salas, 22, stood Ryan Luza with 0.720 seconds to achieve his first victory of the year. Salas, a part-time Nascar Xfinity Series driver, thanked his team and was grateful to finally get his car over the line first.

It was his first victory since Darlington early in the 2024 season.

“To place ourselves here in the play -offs and to relieve a little that is stress,” Salas said after the race.

Salas drove his No. 11 Canaan Esports Toyota efficiently, because the race became a tire -saving game towards the end. Steven Wilson, who won the previous two races in the series, fought with Luza along the piece, but finished in 29th place, a round, because his tires did not last.

Kollin Keister finished third instead, with Dylan Duval and Casey Kirwan who complete the top five.

Salas led the last 93 laps and took the front place about a quarter of the road to the 120-round race and never took it.

“I drove super, super hard in the end there,” said Salas. “I think Ryan saved his tires a bit, so he came to the end.”

The series continues on July 1 on a virtual Chicago -street course.
