The Audi A7 and S7 are dead in America. The car manufacturer rearranges its line -up and offers neither models here for 2026 while preparing the indirect replacement of the model.
A spokesperson for Audi told Road & Track In a statement that the company will not offer the two models, because it “shifts to the new A6 TFSI that will come later this year.” Audi initially intended to mention its models based on the powertrain, with strange numbers for gas and even for battery Electric.
The gas-driven A6 would arrive as the next generation A7, but Audi left that name schedule earlier this year, because consumers found it confusing. Instead, the automaker calls it the A6 TFSI, which will join the A6 E-tron already launched.
The Audi A7 debuted in 2010 as a fastback version of the A6, the reply from the automaker to the Mercedes-Benz CLS, which was introduced a few years earlier. The four -door coupé and sloping roof were a novelty at the time, but it soon became a popular styling trend.

The hotter S7 would only arrive in 2012, with the powerful RS7 debut on the Detroit Auto Show 2013. It was for sale with a 4.0-liter V-8 engine with double turbo that made 552 hp.
Audi will continue to offer the RS7 in America for 2026. The double 4.0-liter V-8 engine with double turbo now makes 621 hp and 627 pound-foot torque, while with Audi’s eight-speed gearbox Tiptronic Transmission and Quattro four-wheel drive has with four-wheel drive. It costs $ 133,995 (the price includes the $ 1,295 destination costs).
It can reach 60 miles per hour in 3.3 seconds and we hope that Audi will ensure that there is a good successor with the new A6. There is already an S6, but it is electric and offers up to 543 hp. It can hit 60 mph in 3.7 seconds, so there is clear room for something faster.
Audi has not performed at its best lately, with falling global sales. The automaker has even admitted that the quality has decreased in recent years, so this renewed line -up must be a hit with buyers, regardless of what Audi calls its products.
