The report, “The state of data confidence: how organizations evolve from uncertainty to relentless trust in their data’Discovered that many organizations do not miss data – they have no faith in their data.
The data problems of companies are exacerbated by limited data visibility or discoveryability, which 32% of the respondents mentioned as a top issue. When teams cannot find the data they need – or do not even know that it exists – progress stalls and blind spots are made.
According to the report, the most self -assured organizations build transparency in their data pipelines. Although only 46% of all professionals report high visibility in the health and reliability of their data, that number jumps to 64% Among those with a high data confidence. This is more than three times higher than their less self -assured peers (64% versus 20%).
More than half (53%) of the respondents identified data reliability as a top challenge when building and implementing AI models. In the meantime, while AI goes from a fashion word to a business-critical tool, the compliance deployment is getting even higher. Forty-five percent of the professionals say that ensuring compliance with the growing regulations is one of their most important challenges in building and deploying AI models.
The report is based on a custom online survey conducted in December 2024, which collected answers from 458 professionals in the United States and the United Kingdom. Respondents include managers and senior level of data management, risks and compliance roles, all of organizations with an annual turnover of $ 500 million or more.
