Daniel Cormier has some truth talking with former UFC stars who cannot let go of the fighting game.

MMA and boxing fans are used to seeing beloved hunters competing along their Prime. Some fighters can create some success despite aging, but others ultimately fight through extensive losing stripes. It is uncomfortable for many fans and experts when the veterans are beaten unconscious after each fight.

More recently, Luke Rockhold entered the boxing ring at the age of 40 to hire Darren Till. Rockhold was brutally eliminated and then admitted that he should no longer be damaged. In a new video on his Youtube -channelCormier begged aging hunters to prioritize their health during another payment day (via Mmafighting).

“For me, which makes me sad, looking at guys who have had those career fights against these fights that really don’t mean anything,” Cormier said. “I think it’s for money, but it’s bad when you see a man who was a champion suddenly says:” To hell with the inheritance, I’m just going to be paid. ” …

“In that respect, something has to change because I hated it. He is so badly eliminated. And then you can see when it doesn’t matter so much, because immediately afterwards they are together in a photo in a bar. You could just see that it doesn’t matter. It just doesn’t matter that he has been stripped, and sucks it.”

Cormier is of the opinion that the name recognition of some hunters must be sufficient to get them a chance that does not mean that they risk their health and legacies.

“Find alternatives, guys. You don’t have to fight forever. We have our time, and then time passes. They always say that father time is unbeaten. That is never more true than with what we have seen lately.”

Many agree that Cormier ran away from Pro MMA competition at the right time. He retired at the age of 41 after a unanimous decision loss to steal Miocic in their trilogy. While UFC CEO Dana White felt that Cormier still had some juice in the tank, the Hall of Famer thought differently.
