The Contender Series of Dana White is back for another year of action. Week 1 had the usual five-pack battles that we got to know and what we love. All promotion is available on ESPN+But you keep your eyes open here for all the results of the competition series that occur.

Christopher Ewert vs Yuri Panferov

Round 1 – Fighters are starting to find the range with a few low legs. Ewert seemed to get the best of that action until Panferov set the pressure. With that pressure, some success came up with the right and left to the body. Ewert answered himself with some clinch knees. One of those landed on the head and Panferov didn’t seem to like it very much. That led to the Takedown. Panferov would surf that damage for the rest of the round at the top. At the end they would be about 10 seconds and Panferov surprised him with a right while the bell brought. Panferov 10-9.

Round 2 – After Ewert probably dropped the first round, Ewert came out. He threw great until Panferov could be able to and a great right to support him. From there he was back on the forward pressure. Ewert again found a large counter that gave rise to a Panferov shot, this time he would fall against the cage before he set up again. Panferov was busy with more combinations with Ewert more one and done. However, another of those big ones would call another Panferov -branchedown. Shortly after he had agreed, he climbed to the mountain. A lot of damage and some entry attempts brought us to the 10 seconds again. Panferov slid away at that time and had to spend some time avoiding wild hammer fists. Panferov 10-9.

Round 3 – The last bell would start with some slugging. Panferov found a home for some strikes, so that Ewert points to the ground and invite a war. Ewert seemed to get the stock markets there better, which led to a clinch a restart for Panferov. Another trip from Panferov led to some land control against the cage, but this would be much shorter. Back on the feet, Ewert was still looking for the big one, where Panferov could avoid the worst. He would still have a Takedown countries with two more coins and this led to more control, including a fertile rear mountain. With 30 seconds over, Ewert got back. He looked to pour it all, but Panferov picked up to close the round. Panferov 10-9.

Official result: Yuri Panferov Def. Christopher Ewert by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Radley da Silva vs George Mangos

Round 1 – Da Silva comes from the gate that wants to turn. Mongos stays out of the way and then catches a staircase. From there he lands one and then turns it into a journey. Da Silva went against and ended with the position. With a butterfly hook that kept him out of balance, da Silva landed next to nothing on top. Mangos worked for a triangle and created a scrambling that saw him ending in the lower turtle. Da Silva lands a bit of that, but then ends in more of the butterfly while he just holds position. A short hassle saw mangos take their backs, but it was short -lived and he ended where most of the round took place. Da Silva 10-9.

Round 2 – They started to act early, but Da Silva quickly shot in for a trip. More control was the name of the game for Da Silva – not causing any damage yet. Mangos continued to clamber until one of them bore fruit. He got the sweep and came up in a rear mountain. From there he was a number of large shots and endangered with a rear naked choke. He would fall off and make way for more control of Da Silva. Da Silva has not succeeded in doing a lot of damage or to threatening much more, which means that the person who burst out of mangos may have been enough. Da Silva did have the majority of the control time. Still I go Mangos 10-9.

Round 3 – The final round started with more of the same. Mango’s landed a big knee, but the costs were again a Da Silva Takedown. However, a few mangos clambering would see him the top check and elbows countries. He dominated the round from there with soil and pound and some dangerous back control. There was a short clambering to close it with Da Silva who took the dominant position with just a few seconds. It all comes down to the second round, because this was a clear Mangos 10-9.

Official result: Radley da Silva Def. George Mangos by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Murtaza Talha vs Baysangur Susurkaev

Round 1 – Susurkaev opened early with some hands and a large kick against the head. Talha partially caught it, which led to the clinch against the CGAE. Susurkaev landed a few large elbows when Talha would fall for a double. Unlike that, we only saw a few small strikes. Eventually they would divorce and Susurkaev would find the hands and stairs again. He stabbed the body with a teep and it landed. He liked it so much, he did it again and Talha crumbles. No follow -up photos required.

Official result: Baysangur Susurkaev Def. Murtaza Talha by Tko (Body Kick) – Round 1 (3:04)

Jimmy Drago vs Ty Miller

Round 1 – Both strikers kicked the rounds of the feeling that they felt each other out. Drago looked to close that distance with low legs and fast footwork. He would get the first blow to open things – a big right hand. He later tagged Miller again and he seemed to be injured. Miller, however, reacted with his own big shot and it was from him there. Miller landed the puncture as desired to close and wiggle Drago several times. Miller 10-9

Round 2 – more of the same to start the second. Drago hit a few legs there, but then Miller would find the reach with the combinations. Drago had his moments, but it was Miller who landed the shots of consequence. Drago had a short light place with a Takedown and then a few large shots. Miller, however, quickly worked and staggered him again. Miller made a journey again a fraction of a second, but the crispy boxing was just too much for Drago again. Miller 10-9.

Round 3 – Drago came out with a feeling of urgency and clearly felt the pressure to be down. Although the pressure of Miller had a little more than before, the volume of Drago created more mistakes to prevent. Drago Groef deeply leaves a number of major overhands in the round, a spinnin ridge and barely lacks a flying knee. But every time he landed, Miller was immediately back with a combination of three punch. Drago tried to make him late in counters with his hands down, but Miller was just too sharp. Miller 10-9.

Official result: Ty Miller Def. Jimmy Drago by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Ilianan Bouafia vs Neemias Santana

Round 1 – Bouafia leads away with a kick that is caught and turns into a knee in the body for Santana. Many Feeints and the feeling followed after both felt the power. Santana found a shot in the body that seemed to be slowing Bouafia. Bouafia looked to get it back with a kick that is caught again – this time Santana ends at the top. One of the first strikes he lands is a flagrant headbump. Chris Herzog stops the action and takes a point. When the action starts again, Bouafia lands a staircase on the body that is ringing in the arena. Santana is looking for a Body Lock Takedown, but Bouafia Klaartert to the top. He gets wild with hammer fists and elbows, until Santana works back on his knees and then his feet. With less than a minute, Bouafia touches a new main kick and the round ends with Kooipest. Bouafia 10-8 (with deduction).

Round 2 – More feeling to kick off the second round. Santana searched for the bombs, while Bouafia Matador tried to play. As a result, not much in this round, except for the strange jab and leg kick. Santana lands a shot, but they usually just dance. Santana lets a few shout out, but they don’t score. Hard round to score with inactivity, but Bouafia probably takes it by being a little more active. Bouafia 10-9.

Round 3 – The third round may have less action in the beginning. Bouafa clearly felt at ease on the cards, did not take any risks. Santana landed a few steps and watched strokes. Bouafia returned with a few fast Jabs. Santana gestured for action, but Bouafia was not willing to oblige. With just over 30 seconds, Santana scored a Takedown that should be enough for the round, but probably not the fight. Santana 10-9.

Official result: Ilianan Bouafia Def. Neemias Santana by unanimous decision (30-26, 29-27, 29-27)
