Czinger is settling in Great Britain, there are plenty of opportunities

Perhaps more than ever before, the US feels like another planet. This also applies to cars: V8 engines remain common (and cheap as chips), the manual transmission remains very relevant and they get the extravagantly crazy SUVs. And then there’s the little detail of the Czinger 21C, the record-breaking 11,000-rpm hypercar that’s making many established players sit up and take notice.

So far, the California-built 21C doesn’t seem to have made it much further than Laguna Seca, but that will all change with the establishment of a British base for Czinger. They will form part of the MIRA Tech Park in the Midlands, a well-known automotive hub that will put Czinger at the heart of all things automotive here. In addition to testing facilities, it will provide access to a range of companies that Czinger could potentially benefit from. Or the other way around, given the 21C’s smart construction and hybrid drivetrain.

Either way, some kind of Czinger presence in Britain should mean a better chance that the actual cars will be here, and that should be good news. With so much familiarity in the market, a truly different kind of hypercar feels exciting. Especially after the impression it made a few years ago at Festival of Speed.

Lukas Czinger, Founder and CEO, said: “Czinger is a global brand with a vision that transcends borders, and we are incredibly proud to have established our UK base at MIRA Tech Park. This world-class facility provides us with the advanced infrastructure and collaborative ecosystem we need to push the boundaries of automotive innovation. Our presence here reinforces our commitment to building cutting-edge hypercars while contributing to the UK’s position as a leader in advanced manufacturing and automotive technology.”
