Croatian player fails doping test, positive for three banned substances | Tennis blog for women

The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) unveiled today that Croatian tennis player Jana Fett has been provisionally suspended in the context of the Tennis Anti-Doping Program (TADP)as three banned substances were found in her sample taken in November 2025.

The case stems from an in-competition drug test carried out on November 16, 2025 during the Billie Jean King Cup play-offs in Varazdin, where Fett represented Croatia on home soil. Three prohibited substances were found in her sample: SARM Ostarine (S-22), a metabolite of LGD-4033And metabolites of GW501516. Her mandatory provisional suspension has been in effect since December 22, 2025.

The 29-year-old, who reached world number 97 in the WTA singles rankings in October 2017, has the right to appeal the provisional suspension to an independent tribunal chairman. According to the ITIA, no appeal has been filed so far.
