A driver who killed a three -year -old mother after drinking 11 pints and finding out the wheel has been imprisoned for more than 10 years.
Matthew Harris, 36, left Keita Mullen, 30, who died in the way after the horror crash in South Yorkshire shortly after midnight on July 24, 2022.
Keita suffered catastrophic injuries after he had been thrown over the road through the impact, which also wound her friend.
Harris, who didn’t even have a permit, managed to be low for four days, but was finally arrested after officers had found the Nissan Juke wing mirror that he rode on the spot.
The crumpled car was found in his house in Conisbrough, with the DNA of Keita recovered from the beaten windscreen.
Detectives then used CCTV images to merge the movements of Harris before the fatal crash.
They discovered that he had been in a bar in Burncroft Hill, where he had drunk 11 pints of what is considered a lager.
He then got into the car to drive home along the A1 towards Doncaster.

Despite the answering of ‘no comment’ on every question in his police interview, Harris eventually argued guilty of causing death by dangerous driving.
He was imprisoned for 10 years and eight months this week.
Serious collisions Sergeant John Taylor said: ‘No duration of the punishment handed to Harris can return Kieta.
“We know that Harris was driving without a driver’s license and insurance at the time of the collision and driving at speed with 11 pints of alcohol.”
‘Harris’s actions led him to kill Kieta were selfish and following the collision can only be described as that of a coward.
‘I am happy that he will now spend a considerable amount of time behind bars, and I hope that a strong message will be sent to our communities; We all have a responsibility for each other.

After Keita’s death, her husband Tom Mullen wrote a heartbreaking tribute to her and said: “Nothing will ever be the same without you.”
He wrote on Facebook: ‘Literally my best friend for more than half of my life, nothing will ever be the same without you!
‘Beautiful inside and out, so enormously talented and the best mummy in the world!
‘I promise you that I will take care of our babies, perform them exactly how you wanted and make sure they never forget how special you are.
“We all love and miss you so many scores.”
