Country bandmates reveal a smart way of landing premium T -shirt times

This week’s episode was honored by a few Country Music Royalty: Brad Tursi and Trevor Rosen, two members of Old Dominion – The country band behind Nine No. 1 Singles – who Knost and Drew Stoltz at hosts to promote the new album from Old Dominion, BarbaraThat Friday fell. The duo was also to talk some golf.

Tursi and Rosen are avid players and golf make a part of their routine when they are on tour. How does that work? Tursi explained.

“In the beginning I would look for the location on the, you know, Google Maps or whatever, and then I would zoom out and see where all the courses were nearby,” he said. “You would see the tracks and just click on the best and we would call and be like:” Hey, we want to play. ”

“I’m the cold caller,” Rosen came out with a smile.

“I have a harder time dropping our name than Trevor,” Tursi said.

Rosen said he was very successful in getting a Tee time over the phone. But when he encounters a more difficult time with private clubs, he also uses a winning strategy.

“You can tell a little how things are going, depending on how you take the age of the person who takes the phone, meter,” said Rosen. “If so, an old man or something, I am so, okay, he will not know who we are. But I often say, hey, we are with a band named Old Dominion, we are in the city, and we just want to try to go for a nice course if there is a way to come.

“Probably 90 percent of the time they are from:” Oh yes, sure, what time do you want to come out? ” And then I sometimes get: “Well, this is a private course, are you a member?” And I said no.

‘And we will be there on the bus and then it will be like two minutes later I will see it [imitates a cell phone buzz]. “Hey, there are some people here that you really like, so yes, sure, come out.” ‘

Tursi and Rosen have played a number of Bucketlist courses over the years, including Pebble Beach, Spyglass Hill, Cypress Point and Pronghorn.
