Corsair’s new Sabre V2 Pro Gaming Mouse is impossible

Corsair’s new Sabre V2 Pro Gaming Mouse is impossible

The lack of Bluetooth -Connectivity is probably for weight saving, but it makes this mouse awkward as a travel option. The lack of stiffness already makes traveling unwise. It is intended to be kept on a desk.

The mouse has a total of five buttons: the left and right clicks, the middle click and the two side buttons, which are assigned to “Send” and “Back” as standard. There are five built -in sensitivity settings, ranging from 400 to 2,000 dpi. These presets can be adjusted and the number of presets can be reduced. With the standard button cards you can cycle by holding the front settings by holding down the right-click and return button for three seconds. The scroll wheel flashes three times to indicate that the setting has been changed. It is a bit complicated. What is even more important is that the DPI switch only works if the back of the rear is assigned to the “Back” test. When I made this button in something else, the combination did not work.

Corsair recently revealed his In-Browser Webhub Help program, to replace his ICUE software for Peripherer Management. It is a huge improvement, easier to navigate and less sensitive to problem than its predecessor. With the utility you can easily adjust settings such as polling speed, DPI and button mapping. However, a mouse that this simple does not really have to adjust much. I quickly made the side buttons again, raised the polling station to 8,000 Hz and never had to use the software again (outside of testing). The only catch is that In-Browser Management means that you need an internet connection, although you may have bigger problems if that is the case.

The Sabre V2 Pro also contains rubber “handle tape” stickers, applied to the primary buds and both sides of the mouse. These can improve the grip and only increase the weight by half a gram, but they make no enormous difference in functionality, unless you have particularly sweaty hands. More than whatever, it makes the mouse softer and offers some extra comfort. However, I discovered that the tape was a limited use. After removing and applying a few times, the edges started to peek back when holding the mouse.

In any way necessary

This mouse has a light ethos of lightness at all costs. It weighs practically nothing, to the point that it feels surreal if you hold it. You can easily bend the plastic by squeezing both sides of the mouse, and pressing too hard from the top and at the bottom, one of the side buttons will activate. By pressing hard on the mouse on each side ensures that a small cracking sound radiates from the dish.
