Core buys South Florida Retail Asset

A branch of Core Investment Management has a shopping center of 260,000 square feet in Bradenton, FLA.

The site currently has a vacant 41,278 square foot Retail unit available for lease. Cortez Plaza also includes dining options such as Chick-Fil-A, Mission BBQ and Starbucks.

The shopping center is located at the intersection of US Route 41 and Cortez Boulevard and is located between various other comic centers, including Cortez Plaza East, an Activum of 173.508 square feet owned by Red Mountain Group. The anchor tenants of that shopping center are Michaels, five under and dollar tree.

Retail sites change ownership in South Florida

Various shopping centers in South Florida have undergone acquisitions in recent months. In August, Core sold an Activum of 186,095 square feet in Miami Gardens called Palmetto Plaza. The company now owns 20 shopping centers in the entire state.
