The delegates of the sheriff in Tennessee found 14 improvised explosive devices in the house of a man who is reportedly planned to explode when the law enforcement arrived, according to the Sheriff’s Office of Polk County.
Detectives accompanied representatives on Friday to the house of Kevin Wade O’Neal, 54, to arrest him on active warrants. O’Neal is accused of threat to kill civil servants and law enforcement staff.
While the representatives arrested O’Neal, she noted that something was burning in the bedroom where they found him, according to NBC News. They investigated the object and determined that it was an improvised explosive (IED).
The representatives asked for help from the Bureau for Alcohol, Tobacco, firearms and explosives and local bomb team officers.
The officers and officers were looking for the building and are said to have found 14 IEDs in the O’Neal house, as well as a woman who hid in a dryer, according to ABC News 9.
