Dr. Divi Chandna, MD, an intuitive coach in Vancouver, who is by Dr. Divi is going to agree that we have to pump the brakes.

“Summer is about slowing down. It is an opportunity for our bodies to rejuvenate and rest. In hotter countries they take siestas. We often do not realize how high we are like North -Americans,” Dr. Divi.

Very often the best discoveries happen when we are removed from our typical schedule-with a friend to hang the coffee or take an unplanned detour from when we penetrate our duties. Grant orders ourselves to give permission not to hurry and take everything.

“When I think of embracing summer, it’s not about doing nothing. It comes down to intention. We tend to measure the summer in activities and checklists, but presence is more powerful than a feeling of productivity,” she says.

Sometimes the best adventures unfold when we are brave enough to leave our phones in our pockets, resolve our duties and let Serendipity take the steering wheel. Using quiet moments to achieve a place of silence, can also be quite powerful, especially if you are interested in using your intuition.

“That inner voice only wakes up when you get quiet,” notes Dr. Divi on. “The summer is a great time to not have many thoughts and just enjoy the sun. There is a reason why we have seasons, and I think one of the reasons before the summer is to calm the mind.”
