UFC superstar Conor McGregor reignited his feud with Jake Paul with a now-deleted Christmas message to the polarizing boxer.

Conor McGregor is probably a happy man after watching Jake Paul lose to Anthony Joshua last week.

Paul suffered his second career defeat to Joshua, who finished him via TKO in the sixth round of their heavyweight bout. McGregor teased a ‘colossal’ bet in the build-up to the fight, walking away with a large sum after betting on Joshua to beat Paul.

Paul suffered a broken jaw on Joshua’s right hand during his fight, by far the most serious injury he has suffered in his career.

McGregor and Paul have been linked to a possible fight repeatedly throughout their combat sports careers, but a fight has not materialized. In the meantime, tensions between the two sides continue to escalate as McGregor and Paul recently exchanged words on social media.

Christmas Day didn’t stop McGregor from attacking Paul.

Conor McGregor shares a sarcastic response to Jake Paul’s heartfelt Christmas message

It all started when Paul shared a Christmas Day message with all his social media followers X.

“God is great. Broken jaw, but brain and spine are all clear. Never been more motivated,” Paul posted on Christmas Day.

“Merry Christmas to the whole world. Never stop trying to be great. If you don’t try, you are 100% guaranteed to fail.”

In a now deleted message XMcGregor mocked Paul’s illness during the fight.

“Indeed! God is awesome! Enjoy your Christmas smoothies, man,” McGregor posted.

At the time of writing, Paul has not responded to McGregor’s insults, and the former two-division titleholder’s post was quickly deleted.

McGregor is targeting a return to the UFC Octagon at the White House against Michael Chandler next year. He hasn’t fought since suffering a leg injury against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264.

Meanwhile, Paul is targeting a return to the ring in 2026, despite calls from Joe Rogan and others to retire. If Paul continues his fighting career, McGregor could be a potential future opponent.
