Conor McGregor floods social media, calling himself ‘savior’ of UFC White House 2026 card

With several recent posts on social media, Conor McGregor has once again turned heads. In a recent video, ‘The Notorious’ teased his long-awaited comeback and called out Michael Chandler once again.

In a subsequent Instagram post, McGregor shared a photo of himself with the White House in the background, suggesting reports that he will be on the June 14 card when the promotion heads to the South Lawn of the White House are accurate. The Dubliner called himself ‘Saviour’.

According to sources, McGregor has been training regularly and is in the testing pool and is doing everything he can to be part of this event. With Jon Jones, Alex Pereira, Tom Aspinall and several other top stars reportedly banned from the event, there seems to be only one realistic way to really make the card big, and that’s by bringing McGregor back.

Two-division UFC champion says fighters keep trying to copy Conor McGregor but it never works

Recently, during an Ushatayka interview, UFC champion Islam Makhachev responded to a question comparing Ian Machado Garry to Conor McGregor.

Garry, who is also from Ireland, has drawn comparisons, calling himself McGregor’s protégé and praising Makhachev as Khabib Nurmagomedov’s protégé as he called out the newly minted welterweight kingpin. However, Makhachev rejected the comparison, saying:

“I don’t think so. He’s not that person. I think they’re all trying to be like Conor McGregor, but no one comes close to him. It even looks funny sometimes.”

McGregor has done that before expressed interest in a fight with Makhachev and has his sights set on the triple crown once he gets past ‘Iron’.
