Confirmed line-up for Man United vs. West Ham: Leny Yoro axed – Man United news and transfer news | The People’s Person

Rumors that Bruno Fernandes would miss Manchester United’s match against West Ham tonight proved unfounded as the captain was set to take his place back in the starting line-up.

Matheus Cunha is also back in action after missing the last two games.

Defense

Senne Lammens is in goal.

Leny Yoro loses his place at the back and is replaced by Noussair Mazraoui.

Matthijs de Ligt is absent and is probably one of the two injuries Amorim mentioned in his presser. Ayden Heaven comes in and Luke Shaw continues in the left back role.

Harry Maguire is still injured. The absence of both De Ligt and Maguire makes Yoro’s omission quite pointed from Ruben Amorim, who was not happy that the Frenchman was awarded a penalty against Crystal Palace last time.

Amad and Diogo Dalot are again the full-backs.

Midfield and attack

Fernandes again partners Casemiro in central midfield.

Bryan Mbeumo starts again in the right front position and Joshua Zirkzee retains his place in the number nine role. Cunha replaces Mason Mount on the left side of the attack.

Ben Sesko has not yet recovered from an injury.

Substitutes

Youngster Shea Lacey is back on the bench and hopes to finally make his debut. The other subs are: Altay Bayindir, Patrick Dorgu, Tyrell Malacia, Yoro, Lisandro Martinez, Kobbie Mainoo, Mount and Manuel Ugarte.

The match starts at 8pm in the pouring rain at Old Trafford.
