It was a full first day of action for the Unified Volleyball World Cup Yesterday in Spodek Arena in Katowice, Poland. The first 6 games of the tournament have set the tone, can be expected during the rest of the competition.
Teams immediately jumped in a group stage to the men/mixed side with Special Olympics Austria And Special Olympics Slovakia Take each other in the first match of the tournament. After a competitive two sets (Best of Three), Slovakia Special Olympics has sealed the victory over Special Olympics Austria.
Quickly popping up to solidify itself as attacking threats in the tournament were the #1 of Slovakia, Rastislav kotlar and #11, Noel Brajercik. Brajercik scored the first point of the cup and continued to help his team to their well -deserved victory over Austria.
Kotler, who played Hitter on the left, noticed when he threatened the Austrian defense with a series of impressively placed steps to the Middle Slagman/Blocker and distant Hitter who were able to take advantage of several points to secure the first set.
Brajercik and Kotlar continued their hot stripes in the second set and claimed the victory over Special Olympics Austria 2: 0. Special Olympics Austria is closed to record Saudi Arabia at 9:00 am CEST on Monday 6 October, followed by Special Olympics Slovakije and Special Olympics Finland at 10.30 am.
