As we get closer to the start of the NHL season 2025-26, Anaheim Ducks fans are excited to see how their team performs. Shall they finally have a winning record? Who will make the team MVP? Regardless of the regular season outcome, a handful of ducks will reach remarkable milestones in the coming season.
Games-playing milestones
Many players will reach games-played milestones if they remain healthy and remain in the line-up. Young players Cutter Gauthier, Drew Helleson and Olen Zellweger will probably reach the Century Mark in games played. Other young, but more experienced, players such as Leo Carlsson, Jackson Lacombe and Pavel Mettyukov could soon hit 200 games on their career. Forward Jansen Harkins, Ross Johnston and newcomer Ryan Poehling are all on schedule to play Game 300.
The more experienced players are also approaching games-playing milestones. Frank Vatrano is approaching 700 career games, and Ryan Strome, Radko Gudas and Jacob Trouba could play the 900th of their career. Trouba, however, is furthest from reaching 900; The defender is 75 games shortly before the goal, so he should play almost the entire season to reach that milestone.
Unfortunately, due to injuriesSince 2022-23, Trouba has not been playing a full season in the competition. However, if he remains healthy, then 900 games is not unreachable. The oldest player in the team, the 34-year-old Alex Killorn, is only 50 games short of playing his 1000th NHL game. He had a long history in the competition – 13 seasons – and has been a consistent performer during those years. It will be interesting to see how both the ducks and the Tampa Bay Lightning (his former team) commemorate this remarkable milestone.
Milestone points and performance
There are a pretty handful of ducks on the right track to reach milestone tracks in points, assists or goals in the 2025-26 season. Leo Carlsson, Ryan Poehling and Jackson Lacombe, for example, are all more than likely to register their 100th career points this season. Carlsson is 26 points short, Poehling a only five and Lacombe is 40 removed. He achieved 43 points last season and shown constant improvement during his career – 40 points is an easy achievement for the defender. Poehling is also only seven goals of number 50 in his career.

Prolifice Playmaker Troy Terry is probably not surprising 200 assists and 300 points this season. Radko Gudas will also reach 200 points by registering two more. Ryan Strome and Frank Vatrano, frequent line sizes of Terry, can reach 500 points and 200 goals respectively, because Strome is 20 points of the milestone and Vatrano 19 goals is short. A newcomer in the ducks (but not for the competition), Chris Kreider is only 18 points removed from registering number 600. Finally, New goalkeeper Petr Mrazek Could see his 200th career victory – he is 20 victories of that performance.
It is certainly an exciting season in Anaheim, regardless of the outcome of every game and the successes of the team. There is a lot of buzz around the new head coach Joel Quenneville, many new faces in the Line -up and general director Pat Verbeke dedication to a winning record this season. Although milestones are not the all-all-alles of a good player, they do contribute to the general success of the team, the moral of the player and the involvement of fans. It would be good to see that the ducks commemorate every milestone accordingly to stimulate that involvement and encourage celebration for a team that is so used to more negative reactions from their fan base. 2025-26 could be incredibly clear and should be for the Anaheim ducks.
