Colorado Rapids Against Minnesota United: ‘Things are under control’ – Armas determined to earn play – off B – football news

Chris Armas is pleased that the playoff of the Colorado Rapids is in their own hands, because they strive to take a step closer to the late season against Minnesota United.

The rapids are eighth in the Western Conference at 39 points, with a three -point pillow over the Houston Dynamo in 10th, with three more games to go.

However, they only won one of their last four games, who came home, but lost 3-1 to fellow Playoff Hopefuls FC Dallas last weekend.

Despite that run, Armas is convinced that the home form of Colorado can bring them over the line if they try to stay in battle until the last day.

“We are very enthusiastic for the weekend. A home game, with three games to go, but it’s one by one,” he said.

‘They are [Minnesota] A team that we know well. They play for something big in positioning. We are enthusiastic that this time of the year are in a good place to make the play -offs.

“Things are in our control or at least on our conditions. We are ready to take it off for our own fans.”

Minnesota has endured a tough week and left the US Open Cup semi-final with a late loss for Austin FC before he was defeated 3-0 by the Chicago Fire on Saturday.

They are third in the west, three points on San Diego FC, and only six points behind the Philadelphia Union, who are currently leading the shield of the supporters.

Head coach Eric Ramsay believes that his side will bounce back from that disappointment to end strong.

“It shows the road in terms of what we have to go back to the last three games,” Ramsay said about their recent versions.

“There is a silver lining that we do not play midweek matches now, and we can concentrate on one match a week to make our efforts to become the team that we have been most of this season.”
