Revenue from operations in the December quarter fell 5% year-on-year to Rs 34,924 crore. This compares to Rs 36,858 crore in the last quarter.
Including other income of Rs 2,391 crore, total revenue for the quarter stood at Rs 37,316 crore, compared to Rs 39,002 crore reported in Q3FY25.
Profit before tax (including share of joint venture profits) stood at Rs 9,473 crore, compared to Rs 11,792 crore in the same quarter last year, reflecting a growth of 24.5%.
Total expenditure during the quarter stood at Rs 28,132 crore, slightly higher than Rs 27,280 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Lower stripping adjustments and controlled cost escalation helped support margins.
For the nine months ended December 31, 2025, revenue from operations stood at just over Rs 1 lakh crore, compared to Rs 1.05 lakh crore in the same period last year. Net profit for the nine-month period stood at Rs 20,163 crore, compared to Rs 25,709 crore in the same period a year ago.
