Fairley and Legrand were both newly elected to four-year terms on the board, while Bjelke, Bosch, Specchio and Wagoner were re-elected to new four-year terms. Carter was appointed to fill a vacancy and complete the remaining term.
“This board brings the experience and perspective that matters now,” CMLS CEO Denee Evans said in a statement. “They understand the complexities of the moment and the responsibility that comes with leading an industry in transition. The work we have done to strengthen the MLS, build clearer frameworks and raise our voices has laid a strong foundation. This group is prepared to continue that work and ensure that CMLS remains a steady partner for our members and a trusted force for the marketplace and the professionals who rely on it.”
The board is elected by the general membership of CMLS, while the incumbent board elects officers.
According to CMLS, the 2026 board will have a “strategic focus on policy, collaboration and creating frameworks that enable MLSs to evolve with confidence.”
