A waiting list email for Newcastle United season tickets has been sent to NUFC members.
The email (see below) invites Newcastle United members to register to attend a ‘workshop’ as part of a consultation process.
Although the club refuses to say how many members there are, nor how many tickets are made available to them on a match-by-match basis, it is widely believed that there are more than 100,000 Newcastle United members and many of them would be keen to purchase a season ticket.
As we all know, an announcement about plans for a brand new, much bigger stadium, or a much more extensive St James’ Park, keeps being postponed by the owners of Newcastle United.
Given how low the success rate is for match ticket ballots, I think many members who receive this email with the Newcastle United season ticket waiting list will chuckle to see that their chances of attending this workshop could well depend on success in a… vote.
