This Clinton Hill one-bedroom features wood floors, four closets, a spacious foyer, and a renovated kitchen. It is located on the sixth floor of the 96-unit elevator building at 360 Clinton Avenue, in the Clinton Hill Historic District.

The prolific Cohn Brothers designed two brick buildings for developers, the Clinton Construction Corp. The complex extends through the block to Vanderbilt Avenue with a shared courtyard in the center. The red brick buildings feature some Colonial Revival details, such as arched windows with keystones, cornerstones, and the Clinton Avenue building entrance with sporting pilasters and a canopy with dentil moldings. Plans were submitted and built in 1940 packed in 1941. An early brochure boasted units with spacious dining areas, hidden radiators, arched openings and colorful linoleum in the kitchens.

This unit largely retains its 1940s layout, as seen in the original mapwith the living room off the foyer and a short hallway leading to the bedroom on the other side of the unit.

The foyer, which is large enough for a desk or a piano as seen in the listing photo, has arched doorways and a wooden floor that extends into the living room. The living room offers plenty of space for seating and dining areas and the windows offer skyline views.

Sliding glass doors have been added to the renovated kitchen, closing off the space from the foyer but allowing light to enter the cooking area. There are white cabinets, a back wall with blue tiles and the appliances include a small dishwasher.

The hall to the bedroom has three closets, while the fourth is in the bedroom itself. The room has two exposures, a wooden floor and the hidden radiators mentioned in the brochure.

Updates in the bathroom include white subway tile on the walls to match the all-white fixtures.

Amenities within the building include the aforementioned garden space, a live-in super, full-time doorman, bicycle shed, laundry room and storage cages for an additional fee. The maintenance for this unit is $1,000 per month.

Debra Bondy and Jason Knight of Compass have the listing and the price is $825,000. What do you think?
