Clayton Kershaw inspires Dodgers -Teammates with Move to Bullpen

The teammates of Los Angeles Dodgers Pitcher Clayton Kershaw expressed their appreciation for the veteran after he has been in Wednesday’s game for his first relief since 2019.

Kershaw thocked a perfect collection in a bound match against the Arizona Diamondbacks and helped the Dodgers on their way to a 5-4 extra-innings victory.

“That was just so great to see that, and what he did for us,” Reliever Jack Dreyer said. “For someone who has clearly been a starter all his career, he showed that the situation does not matter. He just goes into what he is asked, and just perform.

“It’s just another reason why he’s the best ever. He can not only be the best starting pitcher ever, but he can come in the ninth, it’s a tight game and just perform that way.”

Wednesday’s victory brought the magical song of the Dodgers to conquer the NL West to one. They went to conquer the division the next day in their serial final against the D-backs.

“It just speaks volumes to who he is,” Third Honkman Max Muncy said. “That is something he is never gone, and that is taking the ball. He has always done what is best for the team. And for a man to have his caliber done, volumes speaks. I have seen it so many years now.”

Kershaw has been the best pitchers in the Dodgers throughout the season and placed a 3.52 ERA during his 22 performances. Despite his versions as a starter this season, he can stay in the bullpen and become a larm of auxiliary during the late season – at least during the wildcard round. The Dodgers have set up Shohei Ohtani, Blake Snell and Yoshinobu Yamamoto for the series if necessary, so that they can use Kershaw in the later innings.

“You know, he lives in the moment,” Said Infielder Miguel Rojas. “He is not worried about what will happen next year, or how his arm will feel. He is willing to do something to help the team. And if you see him on the hill, it simply increases everyone’s intensity level.

“He means more for the team than being able to describe words.”
