Cineplex is launched ‘Monday Surprise Premieres’, an event featuring an exclusive mystery screening of a major new release.
On Monday, November 10, theatergoers can pay $8.99 (in-theater price) to watch a brand new, previously unreleased movie. Online purchases still carry the $1.50 online booking fee (or $1 for Scene+ members). In addition, Cineclub members can use their free monthly card on this.
It’s worth noting that the ticket price is cheaper than typical standard admission tickets, which went up to $16 by the end of 2024.
Customers won’t know the title of the movie until the lights go out. These movies are brand new and unreleased, so you probably can’t guess the movie in advance.
If you have any concerns about the film’s rating, please consult Cineplex.com before the screening. Cineplex’s website also states that the mystery films will be in 2D.
