Last night the Reds and Diamondbacks saw extra innings before the game was decided. Cincinnati came back late to send the game to extras, but Arizona was able to score the last run of the game in the 11th to win a victory in the opening of the series. The first pitch is planned for Chase Field at 8:10 pm et. Tonight’s game is free on MLB.TV.
Start setups
The line -up of Arizona changed because today they seem to go with an opener in Jalen Beeks after the first line -up starter Nabil Crismert had the pitcher.
Start -tarpers
Andrew Abbott
Andrew Abbott has been good since the All-Star break, but not as good as he was in the first half of the season. However, he comes from one of his best starts of the year, but shoots seven shutout-innings without a walk in a 3-2 victory against Milwaukee.
The splits for Abbott in 2025 are not that big, but right -handed batters do a little better than the left. Righties have a small advantage in both average and on-base percentage. Their benefit in slugging is also small, but they have all added together, they give them a 50 -point benefit in Ops. Left -handed batters do not often get the chance to go against Abbott, but if they do that, they will not touch in any way.

Jalen Beeks
A Reliever, Beeks is used today as an opener against the Reds. He threw 2.0 innings twice this season, but both trips arrived at the beginning of April. Beeks threw last night and threw a perfect 11th inning. He was confronted with the Reds three times this season and has thrown three perfect innings with three strikeouts.
