Wang Chuqin and Felix Lebrun had narrow victories, but the best storylines in day 4 of China Smash Action were the lower -arranged players who surprise the field. France’s Flavien Coton won 3-2 over Feng Yi-hsin and sent 17-year-old world no. 52 to the last 16. Another player on the largest stage is on the largest stage is Eduard Ionescu in Romania (World No. 74), who comes across Alexis Lebrun 3-0 and Felix Lebrun. Kristian Karlsson is a third player who has reached the round of 16 unexpectedly – although he has benefited enormously from Yuan Licen who makes Anton Kallberg from the region – so that on Thursday Karlsson can be the higher seed in each of his first two games (on the way to World No. 2 Lin Shidong on Thursday).

China has a large part of the next round with six players who reach the last 16, but it is important to note that the host started with 13 players in the men’s head draw. Japan has three players who have reached this round with Matsushima, Hamada and UDA who all perform well. Two Sweden (Karlsson and Moregard), two French (Coton and Felix Lebrun) and a Jaehyun, Hugo Calderano and Eduard Ionescu also (Republic of Korea, Brazil, Romania).

Singles for ladies on day 4 eliminated the last non-Asian players. Eight Chinese players, four Japanese players, a few from the Republic of Korea, Zhu Yuling from Macao, and Li Yu-Jhun from Taipei form the round of 16. This largely reflects the ranking with the top players with the top players all of whom are still in action, kuai and wang manyu, preferably preferably prefer prefin, preferably preferably prefer prefin, pray, to play. The first of those match-ups would be in the quarters where Sun Yingsha and Wang Yidi meet on Friday. Chen Xingtong can be printed in the same round against Zhu Yuling (former Chinese team member who now plays for Macao). Kuai -Man is on a collision course to tackle Wang Manyu in the semi -final.
