Format = position player Age on 4/1/2026 | Highest level played Estimated arrival time
1. C Moises Ballesteros | 22 | MLB | 2025
A left-handed batter recorded on 5’8 ”215 LBS, Ballesteros puts Barrel to beams with the best of those who make contact with just about when he feels it and minimizes strikeouts and minimizes every step from his climb to the Pastice. In 114 Triple-A matches this year has struck a lot of older, Balloster. Make behind the plate or wait while the Cubs search other options for his position.
2. Or Owen Caission | 23 | MLB | 2025
Caissie, mentioned on 6’3 “190 pounds, brings double plus power from the left as a batter. He looks bigger than that for me, but it is quite common for teams to measure a man on the signing day and for a long time with a budget of a budget for a budget of a budget. Like the Cubs, who probably had to ride on the Cubs on the Deadline Cabrera.
3. RHP Jaxon Wiggins | 24 | AAA | 2026
Wiggins, who has noted 6’6 ”225 pounds, became 24 hours on 3 October. Like many large pitchers, he really seems to be his pass when he enters his mid -20s, repeats his delivery and better maintains his balance with every month he spends on a mini -league hill. Fastball, slider, blinds of pace, blesses. Reports suggested that the Front Office became affectionate with Wiggins on the Trade Deadline this year: probably a good sign for his prospects on the way to 2026.
4. Van Kevin Alcantara | 23 | MLB | 2024
There is certainly a good thing or two to make for the 6’6 ”188 pounds of Alcantara, an athletic Marvel that brings above average strength, speed and defense to the ballpark. He should probably be better to crack a line-up that strain guests should have had a diamond in the first division, but perhaps it will be moved somewhere with more open meadows at the season.
5. 1b Jonathan Long | 24 | AAA | 2026
When I run the Cubs Run, I find space this season, probably in a DH/1B-Peloton with Moises Ballesteros and perhaps Owen Caiss, which confronts Michael Busch with a lifty that is not dominant against Hitters on the same side. Normally I could say that this is not going to happen, but the cubs are pretty cheap even though they earn much more money than they spend annually, so this can be an easy sale of the front office if that is a risk that they want to take. My thinking would be that it is not that difficult to find a positive bat as that is what you miss. Long has earned the look by producing at every level, with an oblique line of .305/.404/.479 with 20 home runs in 140 Triple-A competitions this year.
6. SS Jefferson Rojas | 20 | AA | 2027
Like many young boys who are signed through international channels, Rojas looks a lot thicker than his mentioned 5’11 ”150 pounds, which is great for our purposes, because it strengthens its innate power on all fields. He seems to have retained his solid contact skills, or at least that was the business in High-a. 2055.
7. From Ethan Conrad | 21 | NCAA | 2027
The Cubs must love Ethan Conrad because they could just have set up a healthy batter in place, but have opted for the Wake Forest Lefty with upside down about his tool set. He is more of a marital lefty to be thorough. He played 103 games against only 21 in Wake Forest, so the statistics don’t tell us much, although he hit seven home runs in those 21 games. Naturally dominated at Marist, but it is unclear how much those results matter. Lotta known strangers is what I say here.
8. SS Cristian Hernandez | 22 | A+ | 2027
A signing of three million dollars in 2021, Hernandez took a long time to find himself as a professional baseball player. He played a season in the Dominican Summer League, then a season at the complex, then almost two full seasons in Low-A before he graduated from High-A at the end of the 2024 season. In 115 High-A matches this season he hit seven home runs, Stal 52 Honks and cuts .252/.329/.329/.329/.329/.329/.329/.329/.329/.329/. I think that is good enough for him to open 2026 in Double-A, where his easy speed and sheet skills have to translate well. If he ever ages in the power latent in his 6’2 “frame, he will be a coveted player in our game.
9. 2B Pedro Ramirez | 22 | AA | 2026
It is difficult to place Ramirez for our purposes, because it is difficult to imagine that he can earn an important run in this team, unless he makes some changes to his game. He is currently not a hunter in the box, accepts opposite field balls and blows as positive results because his legs are good enough to steal some hits against Minor League defenders. A switch Hitter mentioned on 5’9 “165 pounds, he has the Twitch to pop some dingers when he learns to raise and pull. He already has eight home runs in 129 double A-matches last year together with 28 steals and a 118 WRC+, so he even succeeds because it is easy to show things, what an encouraging.
10. 2b Juan Cabada | 17 | DSL | 2030
Hitting is the easy part for Cabada, which signed for $ 1.5 million in January and then .287/.429/.426 with three home runs and 20 stolen bases in 42 Dominican Summer League matches. A left-handed batter on 5’10 ”165 pounds, Cabada has a fast, controlled swing and solid sheet skills that make him a candidate to quickly rise through the professional ranks.
