But now it is finally time for me to call what I think we will do this season when we introduce what will be a super difficult, long and debilitating season. I have explained the worries that I still have in my transfer review, so with that in mind, this is what I think we will do this season.
Premier League
Prediction: 5th
Look, I think Chelsea will be there for most of the season. But this is such a tough competition and teams are so well equipped and know exactly how to be set against the quality teams. As I said a number of times last season, it has become a lot easier for clubs to break and get the big parties of the big parties, because they contain, defend, be physical, stay well drilled, quickly play on the counter and in deep blocks. In defense of Chelsea we are better equipped to break these low blocks this season with a number of good additions to attacks, but I still know how difficult some of these games will be. But it will be difficult for all teams, not just Chelsea. I am also not fully faith in our defense and back line, which came here in my thinking.
I see that the weather is tight and very up and down. But I think Chelsea will be in 5th place during the season. If we also tackled the keeper and middle back areas and signed a new striker after the injury of Liam Delap, I would undoubtedly have put ourselves in the top 3.

I believe we will win silverware this season, because we are proven to be good in knockout competitions and there is less busy in this.

I think we will come out of our competition in the knockout phase, but I think that can be as far as we go. I clearly hope I am wrong, but that is my call for now. We will have so many games this season and the round of 16 opponents will be very strong. Let’s see it.

Prediction: Tosin Adarabioyo
So we now need him a lot this season with the injury of Levi Colwill and I think he already surprised much last season with his much better performance in the second half of the season; I think he will continue to do that this season, and we need that.

I hope he proves that I am wrong, really. But I see him again as our weak link. I know he has been better since the end of last season, but I just can’t see him as reliable and it will cost a lot to change my attitude about it. But always open to changing my attitude.

He has hit the ground and looks full of confidence and quality, I believe that will continue consistently.
How Enzo Maresca will be honest
Prediction: becoming toxic
I say this, not to Maresca, but because I know how unhappy he was with this transfer window. I see becoming toxic. When Chelsea goes through a rough patch, which is quite likely, I see it turning. I don’t think the fans will not necessarily turn to Bulk, but I think there can be a friction between the manager and the board if something goes wrong. I don’t predict that he gets the bag, but I predict some drama here. I don’t know what will happen, but I don’t think it’s a good formula when the manager ends the transfer window that is not satisfied with the company (not everything).
