Enzo Maresca has been fired by Chelsea.
A Chelsea official statement on Thursday, January 1, 2026 in which the news will be revealed.
The circus at Stamford Bridge continues, with these shameless owners at the helm.
The official announcement stating: ‘Chelsea Football Club and Head Coach Enzo Maresca have parted ways.’
This had been planned for some time, with the Chelsea owners just wanting a puppet in charge who had no say other than the team’s choice.
A situation very similar to when Mike Ashley owned Newcastle United and the likes of Steve Bruce, Alan Pardew, John Carver and Steve Mc Claren were in the NUFC job. None of them has any say in incoming and outgoing transfers or other important decisions.
Chelsea’s statement goes on to say: ‘With key objectives still to be achieved in four competitions, including qualifying for Champions League football, Enzo and the Club believe a change will give the team the best chance of getting the season back on track. We wish Enzo the best for the future.’
These Chelsea owners, Todd Boehly (pictured below) and friends, laughed as they claimed this was ‘mutually’ agreed with Enzo Maresca. At the very least, they had made it impossible to move on with any dignity.
No fewer than six different team bosses have been in charge of one or more matches since the American owners bought Chelsea three-and-a-half years ago.
There is undoubtedly a seventh in line, after Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter, Bruno Saltor, Frank Lampard, Mauricio Pochettino and Enzo Maresca.
