Chelsea has completed the permanent transfer of Strasbourg Center-Forward Emanuel Emegha, the club has confirmed chelseafc.com.
The Dutchman was first announced in Austria, where his productive goals in Sturm Graz attracted interest from a large number of clubs throughout Europe.
In the summer of 2023, Chelsea’s Sister Club Strasbourg insured his signature and since then he has established himself as one of the striking young attackers in Ligue 1.
Last season he played a crucial role in the historic European qualification of the Blauw-Wit, ended as their top scorer with 14 goals and contributed a total of 17 goals.
He also started with the new season in strong form and has received three goals in four competitions in all competitions for Liam Rosenior’s side, and it is no surprise that the blues have decided to poach him early to prevent a potential transfer battle.
The West -London club has now confirmed on their official website that an agreement has been reached for the transfer from Emegha to Stamford Bridge.
The report clarifies that Dutch U21 International will complete the season in Stade de la Meinau before he officially arrived at Chelsea in 2026.
Push
In a separate report, renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano Claims that the club World Cup champions expected the strict interest from different clubs to continue the 6ft 4 to a seven-year contract from next season.
This summer, Chelsea strengthened their front line with the additions of strikers Liam Delap and Joao Pedro. At the same time, Nicolas Jackson left for Bayern Munich on a loan agreement with a conditional obligation to buy.
The blues also moved to get Marc Guiu back from his previously agreed season loan in Sunderland after Delap sustained an injury that was expected to put him aside for a few months.
Looking ahead, the Dutch striker, rated at £ 21 million by Transfer marketEnzo Maresca will offer a different attacking option from next season. With Chelsea with a wealth of options in attacks, however, Emegha will be confronted with fierce competition from various attackers who have already built up considerable experience under Maresca by that time.
Chelsea hope to pick up three victories in a row when they make the short trip to the Gtech Community Stadium to make the neighbors of West Londs on Saturday at 8 p.m.
