Brennan secured an entry into this competition thanks to his great performances this season, giving him the opportunity to play with one of the best female golfers in the world, Charley Hul.
Although they were dominant on the first day and finished right at the top, their performance dropped in the following rounds and they had to settle for a shared second place.
Brennan pointed out that it was fun playing with the English golfer, knowing that she is a truly phenomenal player.
Charley Hull shares her opinion
Charley Hul emphasized after the tournament that despite her good form throughout the season, this tournament did not bring the kind of positivity she expected.
“Yeah, the week was great,” Brennan thought. “I found out on Monday that I was playing, and I appreciate that Charley said I was okay with being her partner for the week. I had a lot of fun. It was a great week.”
“Yes, Charley is a ball player,” he continued. “I didn’t really have my best stuff today, really loose with the irons, but she pretty much single-handedly kept us in it, so it was pretty impressive.”
Hull explained that she hasn’t felt the way she has in recent weeks, but now she’s focusing on rest and then practice. Hull is one of the most popular golfers and considered one of the brightest talents, so it’s no wonder there is so much interest in her.
It will be interesting to see what the next season has in store for the young golfer, who is aiming for the highest.
